iiLab Students win Scholarships!

Mong Dang (MSc candidate) and Quinn Thomson (PhD candidate) have each been awarded Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarships!

  • Mong Dang, an MSc student in the iiLab working on interactive segmentation and analysis (applied to head & neck tumors), has been awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Scholarship. It is worth up to $10,800.
  • Quinn Thomson, a PhD student in the iiLab working on non-linear alignment of medical image volumes (applied to stroke), has been awarded a Queen Elizabeth II Scholarship. It is worth up to $15,000.
  • These awards commemorate the Queen's visit to Alberta in 2005.
